Let’s be honest, carriers don’t exactly broadcast why these things happen. Sometimes it’s a technical glitch on their end. Other times it’s because the lorry or vessel has reached an area with poor signal. When the shipment tracking stopped, the first sensible step is to gather your documents. Bill of lading numbers, container references, booking confirmation — have them ready. This makes the conversation with customer service much smoother. Nothing worse than being on hold for twenty minutes only to be asked for information you don’t have to hand.
